The third entry in the new Deadly Deli mystery series featuring forensic accountant Gwen Silver Katz--who inherits her late uncle's Jewish delicatessen in Nashville, Tennessee. The Nashville Katz Mysteries will appeal to fans of Joanna Fluke's Hannah Swensen Mysteries and Diane Mott Davidson's Goldy Schulz Culinary Mysteries. Reflecting the author's experience in the restaurant and catering business, each book in the series will include several deli recipes¿a mix of traditional Jewish deli cooking and dishes with a Southern flair, as well as serving tips for meals. In advance of the first novel¿s publication, the authors will establish a Nashville Katz website that incorporates the graphic series motif and creates a welcoming deli ambiance. The Nashville Katz Mysteries will also appeal to fans of Carl Hiaasen and Janet Evanovich, whose mysteries have a lot of oddball humor and very quirky, eccentric characters mixed into the stories. The success of Kensington's own Joanna Fluke mysteries proves that there is a huge market for culimary-based whodunits. Each book in the series features delectable recipes written (supposedly) by Murray the Pastrami Swami himself.
