It is generally believed that prevention is better than cure in all respects; therefore the health status of the Bank workers and the general public is not an exception. This piece of work contains a cross sectional study of the Regular Medical Check-up among bank workers in Zaria, Nigeria. Collins dictionary defined check-up as a medical examination, especially one taking at regular intervals, to verify a normal state of health or discover a disease in its early stages. Regular medical check-up offers unique opportunity for prevention of all forms of diseases, both communicable and non-communicable, mostly at the primary and secondary levels of prevention, thereby ensuring early detection of subtle physiological, biochemical and pathological changes that is the earliest manifestation or risk factors for diseases.
