Federal Ministry of Health has been publishing health and health related indicators on annual basis for the last 14 years. However, the trends and the trend-determinants of these indicators hasn't been analyzed in a systematic manner. Therefore, this modelling analysis was exercised to describe the trends, fit best fit equations/models that could explain the trends, identify determinants of the trends and predict future values based on the trends. Based on this analysis, thirty basic indicators were included in the analysis. Data quality issues were extensively adressed through the utilization of various techniques indicated in the body of this monograph. Key findings include graphs indicating trendlines, equations/models describing trends, determinants of maternal mortality and predicted values for MDG relevant indicators
